First Olympic Weightlifting Meet, the 2011 Liberty North Texas Weightlifting Meet held at Wichita Falls Athletic Club and Mark Rippetoe did a wonderful job coaching.

Gillian won her weight class with a Snatch of 55Kg, a Clean & Jerk of 79Kg (PR), and a total of 134Kg. Technically, it’s all a PR because she was in her first meet, but it was her absolute PR on the C&J.

Words cannot express the gratitude we have for Mark Rippetoe, Stef, Juli, Josh, Shelley and all the other staff and members of Wichita Falls Athletic Club that generously gave of their time, knowledge, experience, and support. This was not a “traditional” vacation, but it was our vacation, and we wouldn’t change a thing.
